Braharnaya

Braharnaya  is a dense forest towards the east of Marjourie point and Elphinston point.  The soil in this forest is like grey ash.  In ancient times Rishis / sages meditated and offered sacrifices in this forest.  Lord Braharnaya had done his penance in this forest. Hence it is known as Braharnaya.
