Cannought Peak

On the way to old Mahabaleshwar  at a distance of 4 km is a point which was known as ‘ Mount Olympia ‘.  This  point  was  a  favourite of “ Duke of Cannought “. Thereafter it was named as Cannought peak.  The Krishna Valley and Venna Lake can be viewed from this point. The greenery spread across gives a look of lush green Lenin. Its the second highest point.
