Wilson Point or Sunrise Point

This is considered to be the highest point in Mahableshwar with railing at three different direction.  When the journey starts from Sindola Park  it reaches the 1^st niche.  From  here one can view the Polo ground, Makrangad and the Koyna valley.  From the 2^nd niche we get the excellent view of sunrise.  In  the east can be seen Panchgani situated at Tableland from where a footpath leads to Lingmala Waterfall.  From the 3^rd niche we can view  Old Mahableshwar, Elphinston Point, Cannought Peak and the valley of river Venna. It is also called Sunrise Point. The highest point 4710 feet above sea level.
