FLAGGY ASSAULT

Rio Statue - In the middle is Bob Amore

A View from Flaggy

The Rio statue on Flaggy was certainly standing in Sept 2004 during the Plat Jub celebrations.  Two of the young school lads showed Trevor Stevenson and me the way up to it.  Quite a good view of the school, new Kodra dam and parts of the town.  The scenery was breathtaking.

Climbing Institute,  they had a kind of retreat house in Abu

Flaggy was always the first big climb when you had reached Class 5 - that
feeling of having arrived with the biggies,   after doing the rounds of
Scouts Ground , Covent lane and Shalgaon right thru Class 4

keep it flowing
