Comments: Thanks for the memories - the India I left in 1963 doesn't exist anymore but now I know my writing career began because I was well taught- from KG (1954) to Br. Rigney's class (1963), from reading Biggles instead of doing my Hindi(poor Mr. Goyal) and articles written in the school magazine. In 10 years I was never in the First Eleven for any sport but was the first to climb Golden Horn. Saw the last panther hunts too(1957). My 14th book is to be published here in Canada.

I was in India during the Platinum jubilee celebration and in Rajasthan but not in Abu. Was with Bharat Sinh Parmar in Ranthambore! We called Jayesh Patel in Abu (who runs a hostel there. Fortunately was able to meet up with Br. Keane (Kip Joe)in Bangalore before the 1st Test Match between Australia & India.

Thanks once again and thanks to the Brothers and teachers of Abu for making us who we are.

Looking at the school pictures and the way the kids are playing and doing there sports with so much of passion in them, gives me a flash back when I use to run during my time with the same passion and during that time the X-students use to tell us one thing that “school days are the best days” and I think I understand that today.
